This is fire!!!! I think it's awesome that em is rappin about things that real people experience everyday! This song is so true. I've never personally been in relationship like this but I've people who have. It's hard to see it happen.
This song is talking about abusive relationships and what goes on. She loves the way it hurts...so she doesn't leave him. That's usually what happens and he says he's sorry buht he knows it's bullshit and he's just gonna fuck up again...
I dont get it like wat the heck what the song says to me is set me on fire its aight cuz i love the way you lie??? Isnt lying BAD!!! I love rihanna dont get me wrong but the past like 4 songs she has realesed have been so effed up!! Like really just read the lyrics of rihannas part in ur head and really think about it. It makes NO SENSE!!!!!!
@NerdCoreGamers It is? If that's true the song is even more powerful IMO. Even w/o this fact it's still a powerful song. I can only take all the sappy unrealistic Taylor Swift high school love songs for so long. I like the raw scary honesty in this. Rhianna's part is also especially haunting b/c it fits with the image being painted. Of a woman who loves her abuser so much even though she knows he's lying she can't leave him. A great song much better than most rap on today.
